Pain Mapping

Our practice is designed to do one thing. Diagnose First, Then Treat. We have developed a systematic way to pinpoint the precise source of your pain. And no that does not mean just ordering an MRI… Most MRI’s are not going to give you an answer to where your pain is coming from, as an MRI just shows the wear and tear, not pain. Fifty percent of all people past the age of 50 are going to have wear and tear on an MRI, but have no pain. You cannot use an MRI to always make a diagnosis. The only time you will hurt is when a structure in your spine or one of your joints is inflamed. The videos below will give you a good start on how different parts of the spine create pain.
